1
STOP THE MONEY PIPELINE
Banks are at the root of the climate emergency, and have historically had the largest stake in supporting the fossil fuel industry and forest destruction. Since 2016 large corporate banks such as Chase, Wells Fargo and Bank of America have invested 2.7 Trillion dollars in the Fossil Fuel Industry. By stopping the flow of money, we can stop the flow of oil.
2
CHASE IS THE WORST
Chase Bank is the world’s largest financier of fossil fuels. By supporting the companies behind tar sands pipelines — including Line 3 and Keystone XL– and the Coastal GasLink pipeline in Canada, Chase is responsible for Indigenous rights abuses, environmental destruction, deforestation, and a major contributor to expanding fossil fuel infrastructure.
3
TAKE ACTION
Across the country and the world, young people are rising up, striking, and demanding that politicians and corporations prioritize our futures over the bottom line. We demand that financial institutions like Chase bank stop funding the destruction of the planet and communities for profit.
4
CREATE AN ALTERNATIVE ROUTE
To actively disrupt the destructive economic system dominated by Wall Street and international profiteers, you can create an alternative route for yourself and bypass banking with Chase.
5
OUR MONEY, OUR VALUES
You can support youth and local business with better banking. When you invest your money in community banks, you create enormous positive impacts in your community. When you deposit money to a bank, it does not simply sit there–it goes to work in investments or loans that help the bank make money. Most banks don’t tell their customers what companies they invest in—it could be fossil fuels, agribusiness, anything.
